The old Festhalle, built 75 years ago on the BERNEXPO site, has reached the end of its life cycle and is making way for something new. After the anniversary BEA in 2023, ground will be broken for the new building. But until that happens, we want to celebrate and say goodbye to the old Festhalle once again.

During the 10-day BYE BYE FEST, national as well as international artists will cover the BERNEXPO site with many emotions. The farewell festival will be a breeding ground of anticipation for the opening in 2025.

With a multifunctional hall that holds over 4,300m2, an event hall for up to 1,200 people and eight additional breakout rooms as well as meeting and hospitality zones, the city of Bern is securing its position as a nationally important event and trade fair location.
